National Spot Exchange & Multi Commodity Exchange Partners with in e-Krishi program

Kerala State IT Mission and MCX under the Memorandum of understanding brings forth a beneficial arrangement for stakeholders in Agri business.

The objective of the relationship is to enable KSITM and MCX to disseminate spot & future prices of commodities and also create strategic alliance for offering products and services in agricultural sector through joint initiative in developing and networking the rural and urban markets across India.

1.  Dissemination of  commodity price information through the e-krishi network and the Akshaya centres spread across Kerala.

2.  Build on the strategic alliance for all market development services/offerings.

3.  To evolve suitable solutions for propagation of Commodity Marketing linkages helping farmers and  to explore the possibilities of setting up the Trading terminal at the Akshaya centres .

A VSAT link between KSITM Central server hosted at State Information Infrastructure Data Centre and MCX shall be established to make available the futures and spot prices. MCX will provide KSITM with the Future and spot price of commodities for dissemination through Akshaya e-centres and e-krishi portal.

KSITM and MCX will evolve joint initiative for disseminating price data.

The above features will be extended by KSITM within the framework of regulations of Government of Kerala, Department of Information Technology.
